OUR STORY
I started smoking food back in 1998 at the age of 17 on a small verticle smoker that I actually bought for my parents. After meeting my amazing other half in 2000, we moved to south Texas in 2002, where I quickly became infatuated with BBQ and smoking. After several different smokers and burning quite a bit of food, we finally invested in a much larger smoker, and started to sell BBQ to our friends, family, and neighbors as a side hustle.
I quit my full time job in January of 2018 and went full time in the BBQ food truck life, and haven't looked back. Amanda came on full time with me in the fall of 2021 and we're still going strong today.
Being a Christ centered business, we love to help and give back as much as possible. We were also called to serve our community, and we offer many outreach opportunities throughout the year. To date, we've given away over 1,000 free holiday meals to anyone in need.
